Sometimes we have to remind ourselves to slow down, kick our feet up, and smell the roses.
These past few weeks have been nothing short of hectic. Adjusting into my awesome new job at Lexington Public Relations, working on my Shopping Consulting/Cosmetics business with Shop.com, launching my t-shirt line, and of course blogging have kept my plate full and my days long (but you know, I wouldn’t have it any other way). Good thing is, I’m actually forcing my work-aholic self to take a vacation in the near future, and I can hardly wait! My boyfriend and I will be meeting a group of great friends in my favorite of favorite places: Savannah, Georgia. You can expect lots of pictures!
This look is inspired by the crucial need to rest and relax when our bodies need it. It’s slouchy and comfy with a loose fit and soft textures. Adding a bootie gives the outfit some structure so that it doesn’t swallow you or make you look overly casual. And one of my favorite jewelry designers, SALT California, designed this lovely little tri-bead necklace that adds a simple touch.

Top: Forever 21 (I didn’t buy this very long ago, but for some reason it is nowhere to be found on the website! So instead I pulled together a couple of my favorite tulip back tops: here, here, and here)**
Pants: Old, I’m not even sure where I got them from at this point! You can find a similar pair here.**
Shoes: Necessary Clothing (It’s a sad day, they FINALLY stopped carrying these booties. They were my favorite! But I picked out another pair with cutouts here that are adorable and somewhat similar!)**
Necklace: SALT California
